film clean up day
Last night was a good night. I went to the City of Ottawa to visit a friend and watch some great poetry at an event called ‘Words to live by.’ ( http://wordstolivebypoetry.wordpress.com/ ) that featured a good friend of mine, who here goes by the name Poetiqutte here.( http://poetiquette-speaks.tumblr.com/ she almost never updates, but when she does she usually has a very fine poem for us. )
This event was hosted at a sweet little Café called Pressed. Honestly, if I were a local to Ottawa still, I would be there all the time, and blow most of my money there. If you are in Ottawa and have an evening or afternoon free, really recommend it. (http://pressed-ottawa.com/index.html )
The Show featured a number of other talented poets and musicians and runs monthly. To quote directly from their website : “Words to Live By is the latest monthly series to hit Ottawa’s poetry scene! The shows kick off with an open mic for anyone to step up to the mic and speak their voice. We also feature up-and-coming local poets, as well as seasoned veterans around the country.
Come check out this new series at Pressed Cafe where you will hear powerful stories and maybe even share yours, too.”
I know I had a good time. Good friends, good entertainment, good food, good beer, good coffee, what more can you want?
On my end of things, I need to get out with my camera more. I am starting to get both rusty and lazy, and was having some real trouble getting my focus right. Part of my problem was that I had my aperture way too wide to compensate for the low lighting conditions (and even with that and the use of a monopod I Still had to crank up my ISO). Trouble is I am currently in the process of moving to Toronto, and it is eating up SO much of my Energy and time.
Until next time folks.
I should have some more shots for you soon.

YOU FORGOT JANUARY 11th EXCLUSIVELY ON DNOTIVE’S TUMBLR
“Blood is thicker than water”, when used in the context of family over friends, is in fact a wildly incorrect bastardisation.
The true, full quote is “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,” and refers to relationships forged by choice holding deeper meaning than those of mere biology.
fucking THANK YOU
reasons you should fuck me:
- my hair is really soft and it’ll feel nice balled up in your fist when you take me from behind
Why don’t girls ever actually talk like this, do you even know how much of a turn on that would be?! Do you?!
i’m a boy
Why would a guy post that ?

It’s time to take the Christmas Tree down.

Bottom Text: “”I DON’T NEED A BAG.””]
This sort of thing happened to me twice the other day. I ask them what kind of dog they have (I work at a pet store) and they say something like “Oh, I don’t need a bag.” or “Can I swipe my card now?” or something like that, as if I haven’t said anything. It drives me nuts!
I run in to this problem all them time.
(For those of you who don’t know I also work in a pet store.)
